Money Mindset Workshop: Trendsetters

What is it? A financial literacy workshop for high school-aged youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, including first-generation Americans. The workshop introduces basic financial terms and concepts through engaging and fun competitive games focused on needs vs. wants, cost of living, calculating income and expenses, and understanding profit and loss. The youth explore the difference between sound and poor financial decisions, the importance of saving for unexpected expenses, and the role of higher education and training in improving future earning potential to help them make informed and responsible financial choices as they transition into adulthood.

Who is it for? High-school aged youth in need financial literacy training, especially those who are unable to receive such help from their families.
