Smitha has over 20 years of experience in finance in New York. Most importantly, she is a woman, a person of color, and an American immigrant who had to learn the system on her own at a very young age. These experiences helped her learn to manage and view her finances through a multidimensional lens.

She saw how corporations managed their finances and thought to herself, “How can I make sound decisions and manage my own personal finances this way too?” She taught herself through retirement investing, brokerage investing, purchasing property, and tax savings to build her net worth from scratch.

Soon, she found herself helping friends talk through financial decisions and discussing ways to improve their finances. She aims to help others improve their personal finance journey through conversations and insightful questions that lead to productive personal financial solutions.

She holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Management Information Systems.
